One of the oldest medical centers in Europe, Charité nurtured within its walls more than half of the German Nobel Prize winners in medicine. As a university clinic, connected with not one, but two famous Universities in Berlin (Humboldt and Free University), Charité is on the cutting edge of modern scientific research and offers its patients the most modern and high-quality treatment of their illnesses.

Charité is operating the CCCC (Charité Comprehensive Cancer Center). Medical services provided by this center for cancer patients cover all types of oncological diseases and treatment types.

Charité also has at it’s disposal most modern equipment for examination and treatment of cancer. In addition to CT, PET-CT and MRI machines, which are being used for diagnostics purposes, Charité has a surgical robot Da Vinci to perform the most complex surgical procedures in a mini-invasive approach, as well as the Cyber-Knife Center for radiosurgery of tumors of the nervous system and other localizations.
